Data Controller / Data Processor

For data relating to the Vehicle Recovery and Emergency boarding contracts we hold on behalf of our emergency service customers, GRG PR is the Data Processor and the emergency service customer is the Data Controller.

Vehicle Recovery

GRG PR manages vehicle recovery contracts for emergency service customers, and uses sub-contracted recovery operators to recover, store and manage the return of the vehicles.

GRG PR will use this information to notify the owner that their vehicle has been collected and to correctly identify the owner when they attend a recovery operator's premises to collect the vehicle

Emergency Boarding

GRG PR manages emergency boarding contracts for emergency service customers, and uses sub-contracted contractors to secure properties.

To allow correct invoices to be raised to the owner or tenant of a property that has been secured.

Sub-contractor’s Staff

GRG PR needs to hold information about sub-contractor’s staff.

To allow us to arrange vetting, maintain training records and issue ID cards in line the contract we hold with our emergency services customers

Data on Back ups

Should any personal data require changing on our database systems, we will only amend the live version of the data base. Back-ups will not be altered unless they are used to replace the currently live database.

Back-ups of the databases are only held for five weeks and then are wiped.
